Vince and Janee Hawks:Vince and Janee, are Kansas born and both ordained pastors with World Christian Outreach Ministry. They have been blessed with seven children and eighteen grandchildren. Janee has been ministering the Word for over thirty-six years. Vince is also a Bible teacher and has managed a Christian radio station. They have also been pastors for college age students in their church and home. Janee has assisted in church planting programs, Adult Bible schools and weekly radio broadcasts. She has written numerous articles in both Kansas and Atlanta area newspapers, including a weekly prophetic teaching series. Janee is a registered nurse and spent twelve years of experience in nursing which was to her a mission field in the real world. Though her first spiritual mentor was a prophet, she says her greatest influence and most cherished teacher is the Holy Spirit.
For eighteen years, Janee taught in the 6,000 member Trinity Chapel Church in Powder Springs, Georgia. Janee founded a School of Ministry and over a period of seven years she directed more than 1000 students in some capacity of discipleship or ministry. She implemented various ministry vehicles from the intense discipleship of the world renowned Bethel Series to monthly street outreach events in the greater Atlanta area. Janee has a passionate Word-based teaching style and is anointed to equip men and women in an intimate lifestyle with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. Janee's desire is to see Christ fully formed in His body and empowered to demonstrate the testimony of Jesus to the world around them.
In January of 2004, God called Vince and Janee to step out of the boat and launch Trumpets of Zion. TOZ is an Apostolic Kingdom ministry to equip the Body of Christ and impart a prophetic lifestyle by simply becoming a testimony of the ministry of Jesus Christ on the earth today. The main vision is to empower the believer to find their destiny in God and send them out equipped to hear His voice and empowered to do His will on the earth. The heart and fire of this ministry is to make disciples who know their God, and to bring a transformation that causes radical change of a close intimate walk with Jesus. Only the Word and the Spirit of the Lord together can accomplish this vision as hearts are immersed into the Father’s love and then set on fire with a passion for Jesus. Janee has recently published two teaching manuals on “The Biblical guide to Prophecy” and “The Kingdom.”
In November of 2007 Trumpets of Zion began ministry in Kenya Africa. We launched the vision in the community of Ebuyangu with thirty-three leaders and pastors in the Bethel Series discipleship school. The first TOZ community church of Ebuyangu was birthed as well. After two more visits to Kenya several more TOZ churches were formed and there are current plans for more schools in different areas. Trumpets of Zion International Ministry began with much fruit in Kenya Africa with a vision and a multiplication anointing to go beyond into the harvest of the earth.
The Trumpets of Zion leadership teams consists of apostolic leaders, Vince and Janee Hawks, Ronnie and Melody Lewallen, Samuel and Suzanne Clough, and Tim Pugh. Our Apostolic Director in Kenya is Peter and Lucy Onyango.
